Every single bean that leaves Africore Cocoa follows the same traditional, artisanal process perfected over generations in Cameroon — now enhanced with full traceability and EUDR compliance.

Here’s the journey from pod to port:

  • Hand-harvested only when perfectly ripe (August–February main crop)
  • 6–7 day natural fermentation in wooden boxes for deep, clean flavor development
  • Sun-dried on raised African beds for 7–14 days until ≤7.0% moisture
  • Hand-sorted twice — removing defective beans and foreign matter
  • GPS-mapped & batch-coded at farm level for full digital traceability
  • Packed in new 60–70kg jute bags with moisture barrier
  • Loaded under supervision at Douala Port within 72 hours of order
