About Africore Cocoa

In March 2012, Africore Cocoa was founded with a focus on sustainable agriculture, including our core cocoa operations. Starting with 15 dedicated employees under the leadership of Madam Marie-Claire Ngo Minka, we began as a subcontractor acquiring cocoa farms and producing 2,500 m³ of cocoa-related products in our first year.

By 2015, we obtained our first major cocoa contract, achieving a turnover of 250 million CFA francs from local market sales. Today, Africore Cocoa employs over 800 staff across 7 farms in the South Cameroon region (5 owned, 2 partnered), our processing facilities in Ebolowa, and headquarters in Douala.

In 2017, we processed 220,000 m³ of cocoa volume, with turnover exceeding 16 billion CFA francs. Our cocoa sector now supports 4,200+ smallholder farmers, produces 3,200 MT annually, and exports 95% to global markets.

Africore Cocoa is the specialized division of Africore Global Sarl, focusing on the entire cocoa value chain: farming, processing, and trading. We operate in the Centre, South, and Southwest regions, where Cameroon’s humid climate produces world-class Forastero and Trinitario varieties.

Our integrated approach ensures quality at every step, from farm-gate to port. With 800 employees dedicated to cocoa operations, we maintain full control over production to meet international standards like EUDR 2025, UTZ, and Rainforest Alliance.
